We want every client to feel confident before booking a session. The policies below outline how pricing, payment, cancellations, safety and your privacy are handled when you work with A Place For It All. They are also reflected in the service agreement you'll review at your first appointment.

Cancellation & Rescheduling
If The Client Cancels Or Reschedules
- Cancellation or rescheduling within 2 days of an appointment — retainer is kept by A Place For It All.
- Cancellation or no-show after the organizer has arrived — retainer is kept by A Place For It All.
- If service is cancelled mid-session due to inaccurate information or poor working conditions, the retainer is kept and the client is only billed for work completed beyond the first 2 hours.
- Cancellations or reschedules due to medical emergency or bad weather — retainer remains intact for a future session.
If The Organizer Cancels
- If the organizer cancels within 48 hours of service, the retainer is returned in full (as payment or applied to a reschedule).
- If the organizer cancels upon arrival or during a service, the client is only charged for hours actually worked and the retainer is refunded.
Repeated Rescheduling
- A maximum of 3 reschedules is allowed per booking.
- If a client reschedules twice within 2 days of a session, the organizer may choose whether to continue or decline future service with that client.
Safety & Accountability
Our organizers come into your home with care and professionalism. To keep everyone safe, the following expectations apply:
- Organizers are approved by you to be on the premises and are not responsible for injuries or broken items. High-value belongings should be stored in a place you consider safe.
- Pets and children should be kept in a safe area. If they are allowed into the work space, we cannot be held responsible for any incidents.
- Weapons or hazardous items must be brought to the organizer's attention and stored safely.
- Medications will not be touched, moved or disposed of without your permission.
- Initial photos and videos shared with us must be accurate, and the temperature of the space must be suitable for work.
- Please remove food, loose trash and dirty clothing from the work area before we arrive.
- Any dead animals or feces must be cleaned by the client beforehand. If not, organizers will follow CDC guidelines for handling.
- We are not cleaners or movers. Only light cleaning and limited lifting up to ~40 lbs are part of our service.
- The client is responsible for providing appropriate packing supplies. Packers are not liable for items damaged in transit.
Confidentiality
None of your private information will be shared or sold. What we see and learn in your home stays with our team. For full details on how we collect, store and use your personal information, please see our Privacy Policy.
Photo & Video Approval
Before any photos or videos are taken in your home, you choose what we can capture and where it can be shared. Two separate permissions are confirmed at the start of your service:
- Private records: may we obtain photos and videos for our internal project records? (Yes / No)
- Public use: may we use those photos and videos publicly — for example, in our portfolio, social media or marketing? (Yes / No)
You can grant either, both or neither. We always respect your choice and will never share imagery you have not approved.
Third-Party Services
While we are committed to delivering exceptional service, we sometimes work alongside other businesses or service providers that you may hire separately. Please note that A Place For It All is not responsible for the performance, conduct or quality of work delivered by third-party providers.
Insurance Coverage
A Place For It All is a fully insured company and carries general liability insurance to cover potential accidents or damages that may occur during the course of our services. In addition, each member of our organizing and packing team is individually covered under their own general liability insurance.
While we take the utmost care in your home, our insurance policies are in place to provide peace of mind and protect both our team and our clients. Please note: our coverage does not extend to pre-existing damage or issues unrelated to our direct services.
